Is the ticket price tax deductible / do you get a tax receipt?
The ticket is not tax deductible and no tax receipt is issued as per Canadian Revenue Agency Rules and Regulations.

Can tickets be put in the name of a corporation or business?
Yes. Should the ticket be a winner, the prize will be awarded to the corporation or business.
How many names can be put on a ticket?
In the event that a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charities shall award the prize to the first name of all individuals identified on the ticket. Big Brother Big Sisters of Calgary and Area, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area and the Children's Cottage Society of Calgary, and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area and Children's Cottage Society of Calgary will not add the name of a person under 18 years of age on any ticket.
Must the ticket purchaser and the name on the ticket be over the age of 18 years?
Yes.
Can we take orders from people outside the province of Alberta?
Any purchaser who RESIDES OUTSIDE ALBERTA BUT IS CALLING FROM WITHIN ALBERTA may purchase a ticket. The ticket can be mailed to any address (even outside of Alberta).
Where do proceeds from the Provincial Lottery 4 Kids go?
Proceeds from our Lottery support the crisis nursery and family support programs at the Children's Cottage Calgary, and the mentoring programs for children and youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and area and Edmonton & Area including the recruitment, screening and matching of children and volunteers.
How are prizes awarded?
Once draws have been completed prize letters and cheques will be mailed out with registered mail. The prize letter informs the winner of what they have won. All prizes must be accepted as awarded there will be no substitutions.
What is done with my personal information?
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area, Children's Cottage Society of Calgary, and Stride Management Corp. respect your privacy. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists. The personal information collected by the Provincial Lottery 4 Kids will be used to process ticket orders and to contact you regarding ongoing and future lotteries. The names, cities and winning ticket numbers of winners will be posted on the Lottery website:
